Aloha Daughters of the Goddess,
The clouds have been hanging low as of late. Intermittent bouts of rain blessing the Earth. Fog creeps in late in the evening, obscuring our view, veiling movements in the night. As the sun warms the chill left in the air by the night the fog slowly dissipates. Thinking that the mist has lifted I walk out by the little lake as morning moves forward. I’m caught by mist that still hangs over the water, like steam from a cauldron it caresses the water. Then quickly, in a matter of minutes, the mist is gone and the morning sun glints off the water. The Cauldron of Wisdom, of change and transformation. It manifests itself everywhere. She is calling to us.
She is also telling me there are messages to relay. We are making a date change for the Iris ritual in April. It will be moved from Friday 4/5 to Tuesday 4/2. For an updated copy of the newsletter it is available here. We are also excitedly planning our pilgrimage to Hawaii end of September for more information please check out our flyer.

Cerridwin is one of the most ancient of the Welsh/Celtic Goddesses. She is the keeper of the Sacred Cauldron of wisdom, transformation and rebirth. Her cauldron represents the womb of the Goddess from which all life is born and is a symbol and connection with the Full Moon. How appropriate it is that on this night we will have a full lunar eclipse. This is a powerful time for womyn, a time to connect with your emotions, body, intuition, Goddess. It is about time in the darkness, held by the Moon, to reflect, going deeply within, and clearing all that no longer serves you so that you can be reborn as the Moon is.
Cerridwin is the guardian of spiritual transformation. She is a triple Goddess, maiden as Blodeuwedd -mother as Arianrhod, but is most often celebrated as Cerridwin in Her Crone aspect of wisdom and transformation. Her sacred animal is the sow which symbolizes good luck and spiritual growth, and grain which symbolizes abundance & nurturing. Cerridwin is also a sacred healer with knowledge of healing and magick of the plants and herbs. She is also a fierce protector and guardian as a mother of a daughter and son.
Judith Shaw says in her article Cerridwen, Dark Goddess of Transformation, Inspiration & Knowledge: “When Cerridwin calls your name, know that the need for change is upon you; transformation is at hand. It is time to examine what circumstances in your life no longer serve you. Something must die so that something new and better can be born. Forging these fires of transformation will bring true inspiration into your life. As the Dark Goddess Cerridwin pursues Her version of justice with ceaseless energy so can you breathe in the power of the Divine Feminine She offers, planting your seeds of change and pursuing their growth with a ceaseless energy of your own.”
Cerridwin has called us to gather at Her cauldron. Come and join us as we stir the cauldron of wisdom and transformation. We must, after guidance and wisdom of our Crone, prepare the soil in which we will plant our seeds of change. Please bring a white candle for the altar in a glass container, any images of Her, or the white or pink sow.
Please see our participation page for more information on attending our ceremonies.
