Winter Solstice is coming soon, the rebirth of the Sun. It is the promise of light in the darkness of winter. Are you ready to move forward? From Winter Solstice forward the light each day will increase, the Sun becomes stronger as we go towards the Summer. It is a time to celebrate. Time to celebrate our strength, love, and caring. To celebrate our friends, family and our life.
Grandmother Spider Woman can help us on our journey. She is celebrated in many of the First Nations peoples of this continent as well as many others. She is the creator of all, the weaver of life, the pottery maker to feed our bodies and our spirits. Come and join us as we celebrate Winter Solstice with Grandmother Spider Woman.
Please have a white candle and decorate it for peace, any images of Her or Her symbols. Also bring some of your crafts to share, pottery, weaving, stitch-work, knitting, etc. Bring something created with your own hands. Let’s join our magick as we weave and spin our prayers for peace and renewal of new year.
