The Horae are the Greek Goddesses known for the hours of the day and are also related to the word ‘year’. They are a symbol of natural justice and order and are the wardens of the gates of Mount Olympus. Daughters of Zeus and Aphrodite, they have strength with love to share with those that call upon them. The dance of the Horae is the change of the seasons throughout the year, for they represent the seasons and the natural world around them.
During this night, as we prepare for the Summer months, let us gather to celebrate Horae and our spiritual Goddess Selves in our sacred community. It is time to join your sisters and focus on collaboration and collectivity.
We will focus on journaling the next 12 months, so please have a journal or paper and pen. A candle the color of the Sun, a small bowl of water with yummy smelling oil for blessing yourself and a tool for smudging.
