Ride into the Full Moon with Irish Goddess AineDaughters of the Goddess
Aloha Daughters of the Goddess,
What a beautiful ritual we had at Summer Solstice, and the blessings of the Earth with a harvesting of our first crop of plums of the year. Plum jam of all flavors are in the works, blueberry, blackberry and maybe even mango. It is wonderful to have the sweetness amongst the bitter taste that most women have with the decision of the last week. As we move more into the heat of the Summer we call on Aine, Mother and Guardian of women to Her daughters aid.

Aine (pronounced On-ya) is an Irish Goddess that is celebrated largely in the province of Munster in South Wales, Ireland. She is a powerful tutelary (Guardian) Goddess that is still honored & respected by the locals especially by the people of Limerick who keep Her celebrations alive today. Aine was never christianized and Her practices are still truly in the pagan way. She is associated with the Earth and various mounds and with Water in Her lake Lough Gur which is believed to have been created by the Goddess Herself. She is a Fairey Queen associated with the Tuatha De Denann. Most importantly She is a protector of Women.
Come and join us as we gather to celebrate our sovereignty, the claim/reclaim our rights and our bodies, and celebrate in the light and love of Aine. For the altar please bring a yellow candle, any images/statues of Her. Or things sacred to Her: Red mare, rabbit, swan, goose, wheat or summer harvest.
If you are interested in participating in our ritual please see our participation page, Mahalo!
