Sedna the Deep

Daughters of the Goddess

First mahalo for your care and Aloha.  I appreciate the responses to our fundraiser so very much.  As we enter the season of merriment let us also acknowledge we in the northern hemisphere are entering the darkest part of the year where nights are long, and days are short.  Before we honor the coming of the Sun, I thought it important for us to bring forth those memories and stories hidden out of sight.  To help us with this evening of soul journeying we ….

Calling Sedna of the Deep

Full Moon in Gemini
Thursday, December 8th, 2022

7 – 9:45 p.m. in person

Concord Locale, directions given upon RSVP
$25 exchange/$15 first time newcomers

As we journey into adulthood we heal and move forward from our childhood experiences.  Sedna’s story is many layered but, in all accounts, She was assaulted by Her father thrown overboard from their canoe, Her fingers we severed and became the creatures of the Sea.  A Great Sea Goddess for the Inuit, She is healed and empowered through the combing of Her hair by Shamanic practitioners.  What stories do you have to tell and share of your own childhood journey with parents and caretakers?  How can these experiences be turned into tools of empowerment as Sedna’s own fingers became the whales, dolphins and seals of the Ocean?  Bring your trust for this evening of beauty and depth.  Allow the Priestess energy of combing your hair to heal and create waves of splendor in your world.

Bring a candle of any color of the Ocean, wear Ocean colors and bring a favored comb or brush.

If you are interested in participating in our ritual please see our participation page.   Mahalo
