What a blessing that we are having such a lovely influx of newcomers to our Temple. The rains have purified and cleansed what no longer serves us and now we open to the new returning. As the Wheel of the Year turns, we celebrate one of our Matroness Moon Goddess Diana/Artemis. She is our Virgin Goddess and teaches us to stand strong within ourselves.
Celebrate Goddess Diana-Artemis,
The Huntress and Protectress of Women and Children
Tuesday, March 7th, 7-9:45 p.m. In Person ritual
Full Moon in Virgo
Concord locale, directions given upon RSVP
$25 per ritual/$15 first time visit
The Virgo Full Moon beckons us to Diana’s altar as we move into a deeper expression of our self-sufficiency and independence. I will use Her names interchangeably as Her Roman name is Diana and Her Greek name is Artemis. Celebrating Her on the Virgo Moon just adds to the scrumptious energetics of this ritual! The Virgin in pre-patriarchal times had nothing to do with whether or not someone had been with a man sexually. The term Virgin Goddess as Diana is, means She who is Female unto Herself owned by no man. She stands proudly as an image of Amazonian strength and independence. Do you love Wonder Woman? She is based on Artemis/Diana.
Her symbol and tool is the bow and as the archer She aims high towards the Moon for Her dreams and desires. What She wants most is freedom for Women and freedom for children. She will hunt out the patriarchal forces with Her hounds at Her side to fight anything that stands in the way of Her Women and Children.
Please join this evening of power and magick. Let’s raise our collective energy to bless the women and children of the world as well as raise up ourselves. Bring images of Her to the altar, animals, moons, bows, arrows, etc. Please where something silver to represent the Full Moon.
If you are interested in participating in our ritual please see our participation page. Mahalo
