Aloha Daughters of the Goddess,

The blessed rains have filled our reservoirs and streams in Northern California. As a Hawaiian woman, I love the rain so deeply. When strong rains appear in Hawai’i at a gathering, you will often hear a holler out of woo hoo! We love and adore the rain and in many ways are rain worshippers.

The rains can also be seen as tears of joy, sadness and deep emotion. We call forth Kuan Yin’s tears of compassion to soothe our souls, protect us, hold us and heal our hearts.

Honor Goddess Kuan Yin of Compassion and Mercy

Monday, January 16, 2023, 7 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
Moon in Scorpio

$15 first time newcomer/$25 returning women

Kuan Yin also known as Guanyin and Quan Yin is the ever compassionate one who lives the path of compassion and loving above all else. She is an example of rising above those with ill intent and heals with Her compassionate ways. Her name means She who hears the cries of the world. A great healer and an enlightened Bodhisattva She calls to you to come to Her altar to receive Her prayers and love. She is a protector of women. We will also be praying for those who are suffering from xenophobia.

Please bring any images of Her to the altar, a red candle and wear something red if you can. Our feast will be vegetarian so please no meat at this ritual.

If you are interested in participating in our ritual please see our participation page  Mahalo
