Aloha Daughters of the Goddess,
Spring has come a bit ago, and yet today feels very wintery, at least in California terms. There’s a storm brewing; the clouds and rain are heading in. Temperatures are dropping a bit. So, I think it’s a perfect time to journey to the countries of Scandinavia and Celebrate Freya. Maybe the sun will be peaking out by then.

Freya is a Norse Goddess primarily seen in the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. An amazing and powerful Goddess she is. Seen as a beautiful woman with long flowing golden hair and bright blue eyes. Around Her neck is Brisingamen, a bright glowing necklace said to have powers of protection. Freya Herself is a shapeshifter and can transform into the powerful Falcon. When in humanlike form, a magical cloak drapes Her shoulders, which is made of the falcon’s feathers, enabling the wearer to shapeshift into the bird and fly.
Often, She will appear in a chariot drawn by 2 large, magnificent cats. She is a dedicated and loving wife and the mother of 2 stunning twin daughters, Hnoss and Gersemi. And as a Goddess of war, half of the fallen heroes from the battlefield are taken to Fólkvangr, a vast, beautiful meadow where the sun shines, flowers bloom, food and drink are abundant. She is also a witch, knows the powers of divination especially thru the use of runes, and is a practitioner and expert in the realm of magic.
Are you looking for balance between strength and tenderness? Do you need something to aid you in the fight for what matters most? Maybe need some assistance in standing in your power? Come and Celebrate Freya, she will guide the way.
For the altar, please bring a white candle and a bunch of daisies. If you have or are interested in bringing for the altar: Her main animals are the Cat, Falcon, and Boar. She loves apples, honey, amber, flowers, and gold.
