Aloha Daughters of the Goddess,

Women since the dawn of time have gathered to prepare, cook, and share the blessings of the feast.  It is our time now.  Come together on our Multicultural Cooking Day and let’s cook and share the bounty of the Earth, and the blessings of our sisters’ kitchen magick.

Multicultural Cooking Day

The term Kitchen Witch is a very appropriate term used for cooking as ancient female magick.  Not just in the transformation of the food in the process of cooking/creating, but also in the healing, connecting, community, support, and stories.  Food is also a way to share culture, learn about the community you grew up with and who you are on a deeper level.  Women’s hands blending spices and talking story are such a blessing.

For this ritual we will be cooking together, and taking turns in the kitchen, so please bring something to make and share that comes from your culture/family.  It should be something that can be fairly easily prepared that doesn’t take a long time.  Bring along products that you need to make the dish. We have a pretty well stocked kitchen at the Temple, but if you need something special bring it.  The altar will be the feasting table, if you have a special place setting bring it along.

If you are interested in participating in our ritual please see our participation page.   Mahalo
