Aloha Daughters of the Goddess,.  The Spring Summer has provided many fruits. From travels to Tucson, AZ with Luisah Teish for the ASWM conference, to the lovely and healing teachings at the Northern California Women’s Herbal Symposium at Black Oak Ranch, I feel blessed. We are having our Summer Solstice ritual a few days late as I’ll have the honor of traveling to Los Angeles and meeting an amazing group that has been doing Reparations work with Teish. They gathered for 2 years on the East Coast and down South, as both descendants of slaves and plantations owners to heal and discuss reparations. Their work will be shared in a documentary at Juneteenth time.  The time is now for Great Healing and transformation to come.  At Summer Solstice, we will celebrate Mighty Sekhmet with Her gifts of balancing both the destructive and healing forces.

Summer Solstice and Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet Ritual

Tuesday, June 24th, 7:30 p.m.

Concord Locale, directions upon registration.

Sekhmet is an important symbol of feminism and women’s empowerment. She is a great healer and looked to by the medical and healing profession as a deity to pray to. Her name stands for “She who has Power”.  Her father the Sun god Ra created Her to serve as his eye and protect humanity. She is here to respond to the chaos and disorder that threatens our beautiful planet. As the Lioness, Queen of the Jungle, Her characteristics of strength, ferocity, and protection and Her Sun Goddess power of life-giving energy and illumination, Her magick is potent and strong.

Bring your prayers and magick to Her altar as long as any symbols of lions, Sun, and a candle the color of the Sun. Through Her let’s create the world we want to live in.

If you are interested in participating in our ritual please see our participation page.   Mahalo
